Rise Up!

I couldn’t sleep last night thinking about all of my teacher peeps. Started praying for all of us. There are lots of opinions and voices shouting right now.

At the end of the day teachers are going to go back into their classroom and do what we do best. Love our kids. It might look different this year and the pressure is probably going to be ridiculous, but that won’t stop us. We are resilient. I think we have proven that.

My heart is heavy this morning. I can’t help it. I long for normalcy and if I’m being honest I dread the unknown. But here’s the truth - God sees us and is not shaken by any of it. He will walk us through these deep waters.

So today I’m thinking about all of the teachers across the land. The ones that have babies at home or maybe an older loved one living with them. We can do this!  We WILL do this!  And just like the graduating class of 2020 we WILL rise above and not be forgotten!
